How the story came to be: There was a place that was doing a collection for ocean themed horror, and this is the idea that came to me!

Relative Confidence Level Before Submitting: 9, cause the oppurtunity was unpaid and I didn’t think there’d be too much competition lol
Rejections before finding a home: 0. I was right!!!
The eventual home: Hell Itself. So the actual place this was supposed to be never happened. The editor for the collection got kicked out of the publisher…and then the publisher died, too. So that really sucked! But I decided to send this over to Hell Itself instead, because one of the reqs is “accepted to a market/publication that went under before it came out” so since mine was 2x I thought it would work lol. And they’ve published dinosaur stuff before, too! So I’m glad I was able to rehome it.
