There’s plenty of places to buy books online! You probably already have a favorite website, and they most likely will have these books! Search the ISBN or the title, and you should find it.
Below are specific storefronts I’d like to highlight.
Bookshop.org
This is the best choice if you’d like to support me! As an affiliate, I earn 10% of your purchase (before tax and shipping) as commission. These are new books and tend to be more expensive than other stores.
Alibris
This is my employer! I’m not an affiliate, but you’ll make my boss happy. The prices, even for new copies, will probably be cheaper than many other places.
Libby
The SaaS formerly known as Rakuten Overdrive, this is how most libraries handle their digital collections. Please go to your library’s website and follow the instructions for getting set up. There, you can search for titles and borrow them. If they’re not in the collection, you can indicate your interest, which helps your librarian choose what to license.
Your Local Bookstore
You can walk into (or call, or email) your favorite local, independent bookstore and request them to order a book for you. Give them the ISBN and they’ll know what to do with it.
Amazon
Look, I get it. Sometimes you don’t have any other option. Or you got a gift card. Stuff happens. I have no way of knowing which person bought what book in what manner. But I am an Amazon affiliate, which means I might make some money on stuff you buy on Amazon if you click on a link of mine. Not a ton, but more than 0%, and also maybe for other stuff you might buy in that shopping session. That’s money I get instead of Bezos, and I think that’s kinda cool.
